MoU Between IBA Karachi & Meezan Bank

March 31^st, 2022: The Institute of Business Administration (IBA), Karachi and leading bank of Pakistan, Meezan Bank, have partnered to promote the mutual understanding and the modalities of cooperation between both Parties in various areas including scholarly collaboration by supporting academic, research and capacity building activities. Accordingly, the MOU will contribute for fostering and development of the cooperative relationship between the two Parties through corporate consultancy, Joint research projects, Capacity building , product development support ,Innovation & Transformation research Internships for faculty and students.

Rapid pace in the innovation and transformation not only in banking sector but in all industries lead, Office of Research Innovation and Commercialization at IBA takes this initiative to establish strong industry academia relationship to transform the corporate sector in the country.

On this auspicious occasion, Dean SMCS-IBA, Dr Shakeeh Ahmed Khoja and Senior Vice President Group Head, Customer Service Mr Mohammad Raza signed the MOU at the Institute of Business Administration in Karachi in the presence of Director ORIC IBA-Mr Sohaib Saleem.

Mr Mohammad Raza ,SVP and Group-Customer Service ,rightly mentioned the needs of industrial digitalization as digitalization of the economy drives entrepreneurial innovation, productivity, and regional economic growth ,Moreover Dr Shakeel Ahmed Khoja also appreciated the efforts of Mr Umer Mansoor ,Head of Innovation and Digital Transformation at his team at Meezan Bank for promoting the transformation culture and develop competition among other banks for setting highest benchmark of better performance. Both parties agreed to develop the same innovation culture at universities for improving quality education and solving problems along with bringing social impact.
