CORTEX: Research Internship Program

The workshop on Research Methodology for Business Research organized by IBA ORIC in collaboration with the Centre for Innovative Learning and Ed-Transformation (CILET) turned out to be an immense success. We received an overwhelming response from the participants and they were very eager to benefit from this course.

The sessions started with interesting and insightful discussions on the variety of research paradigms and philosophical orientations. This was followed by highlighting tools and a scientific approach to literature reviews and bibliometric analysis. Quantitative research methodologies were discussed in detail including experimental design, multiple regression, exploratory factor analysis & cluster analysis and the very beneficial session on using DataStream to collect secondary data. The next week saw a debate on the various qualitative inquiry frameworks and data collection methods. The course was attended by MS and PhD students, lecturers and research assistants.

It was a good starting point towards the achievement of the objective to create interest in the field of research and to develop and enhance the abilities of early career researchers to undertake high-quality research.
