Cortex: Research Capacity Building Wing has been established with collaboration of ORIC and CEE with a purpose of conducting academic writing & research workshop for researchers and academic staff at higher education institutions all over the country.  These in-depth workshops are designed to provide researchers with insightful information that will enable them to successfully apply their existing analytical skills and produce high-quality research effectively and efficiently. The capacity building will involve the development of researchers and early career faculty members through courses and workshops to design and undertake research, write up and publish research.

The idea behind the name 'Cortex' is noteworthy. Cortex is an essential part involved in higher level processes of human brain including memory, reasoning, problem-solving, emotions, consciousness and other key functions. Likewise, this wing also aims to provide substantial benefits in enhancing the abilities of researchers and motivate them to publish their original content, contributing significantly to the education sector.
