HEC Travel Grant Program for Pakistani Researchers

The Higher Education Commission (HEC), Islamabad has invited applications from faculty/researchers of public sector universities to apply HEC funding under Travel Grant Program. Now HEC has revised its Travel Grant Policy allowing applicants to apply directly to HEC for funding while funds will be released to concerned university as per approve award upon filing reimbursement claim within 3 months of the event. The researchers can avail this opportunity who are:

• Principal author (first or corresponding author) of the paper to be presented in the conference abroad 
• The faculty member (except visiting faculty) or MS/MPhil/PhD scholar of a public sector HEIs/ University 

Applications may be submitted through HEC online portal (research.hec.govt.pk) followed by hard copy to ORIC in the original at least 60 days prior to the event date along with requisite documents. Heads of ORIC's/Heads of Research at the respective HEI will endorse the application.
